A damaged powervalve wiring harness is a common cause of malfunctions, misfires, or error messages. Especially in the area of the engine and servo drive, the wiring harness is exposed to high heat, vibrations, and movement – this is precisely where cable breaks, corrosion, or loose connections often occur.
With this repair wiring harness, the defective section can be precisely and professionally replaced without having to exchange the entire original wiring harness.
The wiring harness is designed for repairing the affected section and is inserted into the existing wiring harness.
The technically best and most durable solution is always the classic, clean soldering of the wires with subsequent professional insulation and strain relief.
For users who do not have the option of classic soldering, solder sleeves are also included. These offer a practical alternative but must be processed correctly with a heat gun. A suitable attachment or a baffle plate on the heat gun should be used to direct the heat cleanly and precisely to the connector. Only with uniform and sufficient heating will the connector shrink correctly and establish a reliable connection.

Installation

Locate the defective spot and expose the wiring harness

Carefully cut out the damaged area

Position the repair wiring harness appropriately

Recommended: Professionally solder the wires and then insulate them cleanly

Alternatively: Connect with the enclosed solder connectors and heat them evenly with a heat gun with a suitable baffle plate/attachment until the connector is fully shrunk and cleanly processed

Allow the connection to cool, check it, and then safely reroute the wiring harness to prevent chafing
